Ellen for Education Campaign Announces Record Fundraising Haul
Momentum Builds as Ellen Weaver Raises Over $125,000 in Six Weeks

Columbia, S.C. – Ellen Weaver, conservative Republican for South Carolina’s next State Superintendent of Education, announced today she has raised more than $125,000 dollars in just the first six weeks of her statewide campaign. The fundraising total is the largest ever reported at this stage of a race for State Superintendent of Education.

First Tuesday Strategies senior partner Luke Byars, who serves as a general consultant to Weaver’s campaign, said, “This is significant. Ellen’s fundraising total highlights the incredible amount of GOP support she has already built across South Carolina. Ellen Weaver has the strong, early momentum in this race, and it is clear she will have all the resources necessary to deliver her conservative message and win the June 14th GOP primary.”
