Momentum Continues to Build as Weaver Announces Raising over $270,000 to date

Columbia, S.C. – Ellen Weaver, conservative Republican candidate for South Carolina’s next Superintendent of Education, announced today she raised more than $140,000 dollars in the first quarter of this year. The Weaver campaign has raised over $270,000 to date, dominating all other Republicans in the primary race for Superintendent.

Weaver’s campaign manager Ryan Gillespie said, “Ellen Weaver is the conservative leader Republicans are rallying behind in this race. She has a record standing up for parents by fighting to eliminate common core in South Carolina and pushing for more choices in education. She also has a real plan for keeping more teachers in public schools. These impressive fundraising numbers demonstrate the deep level of conservative support she is already receiving from all over the state.”

The GOP primary will be held on June 14, 2022.
